Arch Oboler's Plays
Arch Oboler (1909-1987) was a innovative writer, director, and producer, whose works always command attention. A controversial figure in the ealy days of radio drama, Oboler's radio plays sometimes polarized audiences. He was a relentless crusader against the rise of Hitler, and many Americans objected to his shows. The prevailing attitude at the time was to stay out of the fight.
But Arch Obloler was a true radio pioneer. He is credited with bringing the "stream-of-consciousness" style to the airwaves.
